Review by Juanjo Pina

Liverpool Encores is a stunning album by Ian Tracey that showcases his exceptional talent as an organist. The album features a collection of encores that Tracey has played over the years as the organist of Liverpool Cathedral. The tracks are a mix of classical, contemporary, and popular pieces, all played with impeccable precision and passion.

Tracey's mastery of the organ is evident in every track, as he effortlessly navigates the complex compositions with ease. The album opens with a lively rendition of the popular hymn "All creatures of our God and King," followed by a hauntingly beautiful performance of "Elegy" by George Thalben-Ball. The album also includes impressive renditions of popular pieces such as "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin and "Memory" from the musical Cats.
