About Intelligent Manners & Command Strange

Drum & Bass producer and DJ from Saint-Petersburg, Russia Intelligent Manners, aka Dmitriy Sabekiya is a talanted musician and producer hailing from beautiful city of Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Dmitriy started listening to Jungle music at the age of 10, regarding to his big brother, who had been always buying tapes with the newest UK stuff. His constant attention to Drum & Bass culture development and continuous improvement of his musical skills yielded the first results. He started sampling sweet Soul and Jazzy music making his first tracks and then focused on improving his production. In March 2010 Intelligent Manners releases his first vinyl single "If You Want My Love" on Grid/Allsorts Recordings based in London, at the same time his melodic soulful tunes are aired regularly on BBC Radio 1Xtra and other radio stations worldwide. He gains support from the biggest names such as LTJ Bukem, Marky, Bryan G, JJ Frost, Fabio & Grooverider, Crissy Criss, EZ Rollers, Bailey and others. Intelligent Manners following releases on Fokuz, Nexgen, Have-A-Break and Celsius records have successfully cemented his name into the Liquid Drum & Bass scene. In late 2012 Dutch Drum & Bass label Fokuz Recordings released Intelligent Manners debut album "The Movement" LP full of positive vibes and funky grooves that express every side of his emotional nature and won't leave you untouched. Alongside gigs and studio production, Dmitriy is also a host of a weekly live Drum & Bass show "Night Grooves" on Moscow's Megapolis 89'5 FM. With his forthcoming releases on Innerground, Good Looking, Fokuz, Celsius, Antillectual Beats and some other labels in the pipeline Intelligent Manners continues conquering new musical spaces and without doubt is the one to watch out for.
