Review by Casey Landry

The album "Upptäckter" by Iwa Sörenson, Birgitta Svendén, and Lennart Hedwall is a captivating and unique musical experience. The trio's blend of traditional Swedish folk music with contemporary jazz and classical influences creates a sound that is both familiar and fresh.

The album features a variety of instruments, including the nyckelharpa, accordion, and piano, all of which are played with precision and passion. The musicians' technical abilities are impressive, but it's their emotional depth and musical storytelling that truly shine.

Each track on "Upptäckter" tells a different story, from the hauntingly beautiful "Sång till en vän" to the playful and lively "Kuling." The trio's chemistry is evident throughout, with each member taking turns leading and supporting each other with ease.
