American baritone vocalist. Born 16 February 1883 in New York, died 27 February 1948 in Hempstead, Nassau County, New York. Older brother of . He formed a vaudeville act "Kaufman Bros" with his brother Philippe Kaufman (Phil). After Phils death (1918), he teamed up with his younger brother , under the name "Jack and Irving Kaufman". Married to Rosina Carson Kaufman (a.k.a. Olive York), an English showgirl.
