Review by Marc Mores

The Jacques Loussier Trio's album, Beethoven Allegretto From Symphony No 7, is a stunning interpretation of one of Beethoven's most popular works. The trio, consisting of Jacques Loussier on piano, Vincent Charbonnier on bass, and André Arpino on drums, takes the listener on a journey through the intricacies and nuances of Beethoven's music.

Loussier's virtuosity on the piano is evident in every note he plays, while Charbonnier and Arpino provide a solid and dynamic rhythm section. The trio's arrangements of Beethoven's Allegretto are both faithful to the original score and innovative, adding their own unique touch to the music.
