Review by Brian Phelps

Crazy Country by Johnny Cash is a classic album that showcases the legendary singer's talents as a storyteller and musician. Released in 1962, the album features a mix of original songs and covers that capture the essence of Cash's unique style.

From the opening track "Crazy Arms" to the closing number "I'd Just Be Fool Enough (To Fall)", Cash's deep, resonant voice and distinctive guitar playing are on full display. The album also features standout tracks like "The Story of a Broken Heart" and "You're the Nearest Thing to Heaven", which demonstrate Cash's ability to convey complex emotions through his music.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "I'm Gonna Sit on the Porch and Pick on My Old Guitar", which showcases Cash's love of traditional country music and his respect for the genre's roots. The song features a simple melody and lyrics that pay homage to the simple pleasures of life.

When I got out of the Navy,my Division Officer said that I never would have made it to the end of my enlistment if one of the Petty Officers hadn't held my feet to the fire.
I would have punched him out too but I showed a rare fit of maturity & walked away from it.
And my evaluation reports always checked the "Not Observed" box for Military Discipline.
If I hadn't shown any, I'd have been in trouble a lot more for insubordination.

I heard this song for the first time ever today, on Sirius XM, channel 59 or 60 I don't recall. Anyway, I didn't get to hear the whole thing because I had to go back into the store, the pizza place I work for. Just got off work, just listen to the rest of the song, it is a total riot! I love it! I cannot believe I never heard this song before now. And I've been around a while.
