Keith Sweat has one of those distinct voices that really kinda sets him apart from all the other sounds of the time. He's got a deep, smooth voice and the production he chooses really suits him well. When this hit in 96' it was the quintessential panty droppin' album of the year. The guest appearances on this album wonderfully compliment his style such as the 'Come On Over' track with Ron Isley or the super ballads 'Twisted' and 'Nobody' with Athena Cage. Even the uptempo 'Funky Dope Lovin' is really great with Gerald Levert and Aaron Hall. All of these tracks I just mentioned are the highlights of the album but to be quite honest there isn't much NOT to like here. 'Yumi', 'Whatever You Want', 'Chocolate Girl' are all really well done tracks with a lot of repeat value in them. That's the other thing that I really love about this release. It packs a lot of punch in little time. 48min total goes by so fast when you listen to this and before you know it you're on the 2nd time around and that is a really good thing. A few things that did catch my attention are one of the interlude's 'Nature's Rising' started off real good and then it ends and you're left wondering how awesome that could of been if it were a full 3-4 minutes. Besides that disappointment, I would say 'Just a Touch' and 'Freak With Me' are a bit off for me. They just didn't seem to make that much of an impact like everything else. Now when you actually listen to the album fully you really don't even think about all these little negative's because it's just such a great listen. I'm a little conflicted as to which Keith Sweat album is the better one 'Make It Last Forever' or this one and I've finally settled on this one and I'm happy with that decision. I would classify this one as an essential R
