Kylie Minogue's debut album which was named simple "Kylie" is a very much like most 80's female pop albums but it has lots of UK hits, "I Should Be So Lucky" was #1 and "Got to Be Certain", "Loco-Motion", and "Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi" were number #2 in UK when they were released as singles in the late 80's. There were no other singles released but the songs like "It's No Secret" and "Turn It Into Love" show some of the best Kylie at that time. I think "Turn It Into Love" is one of her best songs ever. It has a beautiful melody and Kylie's singing sounds very dedicated and eager especially in that song. Also "I Miss You" has been sung amazingly although it is maybe the least favorite song of mine.This album sounds very much like Madonna's 80's style and even Kylie's singing remind me very much of Madonna. Still, her singing sounds much innocent and girl next-door than Madonna ever did. She was definitely influenced by her and that's why her two first albums sound very much like that. The "Stock Aitken Waterman" were responsible for the most of the songs, only "Loco-Motion" which was originally performed by Little Eva is written by G. Goffin and Carole King. Still the song sounds like it was made it with 80's pop style and Kylie definitely made it sound like her own.Although Kylie's own style she would use in the 2000's hadn't developed yet here, Kylie debut remains my favorite Kylie album before her legendary times which started with "Impossible Princess" in the 90's and was brought to bring quality albums often. Kylie's singing developed later too but there was something special with her young girly voice. After about 30 years from its release, people still remember the big hits from this album. and both are requested during her live shows.

I miss this kind of dance music you can dance to and sing along to like this here back then.

Today’s music which is chr is just garbage because the groups or solo ones focuses too much on ass shaking and sexual vulgarity and hating on someone by using swear words in their lyrics etc. That’s why 80’s and even the 90’s dance music kick today’s chr garbage music’s ass
