Review by Carl Frederick

The album Bluegrass Breakdown by Lilly Brothers is a fantastic collection of traditional bluegrass tunes that will delight any fan of the genre. The Lilly Brothers, a duo consisting of brothers Everett and Bea Lilly, are known for their tight harmonies and virtuosic musicianship, and both are on full display here.

The album kicks off with the rollicking "Big Sandy River," which showcases the brothers' impressive banjo and guitar skills. Other standout tracks include "Riding the Waves," a haunting ballad with beautiful vocal harmonies, and "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," a classic Hank Williams tune that the brothers make their own.

Throughout the album, the Lilly Brothers' love for bluegrass music is evident in every note they play. Their passion for the genre is infectious, and listeners will find themselves tapping their feet and humming along to every song.
