Lokomotiv Konkret - Lokomotiv Konkret

Review by Alf

Lokomotiv Konkret's self-titled album is an impressive display of experimental electronic music. The German duo, consisting of Jan Werner and Andi Toma, seamlessly blend a variety of sounds to create a unique and captivating listening experience.

The album opens with "Der Weisse Raum," a hauntingly beautiful track that sets the tone for the rest of the record. From there, the listener is taken on a journey through a world of glitchy beats, distorted vocals, and ethereal melodies. Each track is a masterful blend of electronic elements, with a clear emphasis on texture and atmosphere.

One standout track is "Eisenbahn," which features a driving rhythm and a hypnotic vocal sample that repeats throughout the song. Another highlight is "Konkret," which starts off with a sparse and minimalistic sound before gradually building into a complex and layered arrangement.
