Magdalen Sky by Mark Gardener is a stunning album that showcases the former Ride frontman's incredible talent as a songwriter and musician. With its dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes and haunting melodies, this record is a true masterpiece of shoegaze and psychedelic rock.
From the opening track "Chained" to the closing number "The Story of the Eye," every song on Magdalen Sky is a work of art in its own right. Gardener's vocals are as mesmerizing as ever, and his guitar playing is nothing short of brilliant. The album also features some impressive guest appearances, including Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins and Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

- "Magdalen Sky" is a song written by Mark Gardener and Kaye Denham. The song was released as Gardener's debut solo single in June 1997 by Shifty Disco Records, following the 1996 break-up of Gardener's previous band Ride. The single was part of Shifty Disco's Singles Club and had a limited run of 1,000 numbered copies.

- Green slipcase sleeve retail copies include an orange paper insert with artist & track titles information.
