Never heard of her until about a year ago while watching reruns of the "Jimmy Dean Variety Show" on the RFD Network. Now I'm hooked. Turns out my mom used to love her back in the day. Dang, she sure was pretty and she could sing up a storm.

This was pretty much regulation stuff from artists in the business who wanted to include the well-known hits of their fellow country stars on their albums during the 60's and 70's . Here Molly does a highly commendable job on Connie's smash hit

I remember when Molly Bee was the side-kick of Pinky Lee! Man, am I ever ancient. Her vocals are pretty good. And how could I not remember her from "The Jimmy Dean Show"! My dad liked her, as he was also from Oklahoma. As for seeing her on Tennessee Ernie Ford's show, I have vague memories of her on his show. I liked Tennessee Ernie, 'cause he had my all time favorite female vocalist, BRENDA LEE as a guest a few times. Thanks for sharing this!

Discovered her about a year ago as I tuned in to old Jimmy Dean Variety Hour TV show. She certainly was pretty but most importantly she could sing up a storm. She played guitar well and was one of the best yodelers around. The great Molly. I wish she would have lived longer but the voice of an angel is singing with the angels.
