About Mr Oizo

French electronic artist. Best known pseudonym of musician and movie director , Mr. Oizo became famous after his instrumental track "" (1999) was used in two different commercials for the jeans brand, which also featured the puppet Flat Eric, created by Dupieux. The term "Oizo" is a homophonic intentional misspelling of the word "oiseau" (pronounced wa-zo), meaning "bird" in the French language.
