Nazareth - Snakes N Ladders

Nazareth's latest album, Snakes N Ladders, is a solid effort that showcases the band's ability to rock hard and deliver catchy hooks. The album kicks off with the driving "Never Dance with the Devil," which sets the tone for what's to come. Lead singer Dan McCafferty's raspy vocals are as strong as ever, and the rest of the band is firing on all cylinders. "Don't Throw Your Love Away" is a standout track with its infectious chorus and guitar riff. The band also shows its softer side with the ballad "Sunshine," which features some beautiful acoustic guitar work. The title track, "Snakes N Ladders," is a bluesy number that allows the band to stretch out and show off their chops. Snakes N Ladders is a solid addition to Nazareth's discography and a must-listen for fans of classic rock.

Back once more to synths and embarrassing songwriting. And a few strange covers. But could have been worse.The voice of Dan McCafferty is beginning to strain, which is painfully obvious on the opening track.
