The album "Soulful Child I Know" by Next Exit, Corky Shartzer, is a soulful journey through the emotions and experiences of life. The album features a range of musical styles, from blues to rock to gospel, all infused with Shartzer's signature soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics.

The opening track, "Soulful Child," sets the tone for the album with its gritty blues guitar and Shartzer's powerful vocals. The album continues with tracks like "Love in Vain," a haunting blues ballad, and "Wandering Soul," a gospel-inspired anthem that showcases Shartzer's impressive range.

This group was from Lansing, Michigan. Song came out in 1966 or 1967. All members of the group attended Lansing Sexton High School. I know the names of 2 of the horn players. I believe the group made a recording of a 2nd song, but I can't remember the name of it.
