Rock Boll Weevil Twixt Twelve And Twenty by Pat Boone is an album that showcases the artist's versatility and range. The album features a mix of rock and roll, pop, and country music, with Boone's signature smooth vocals tying it all together.

The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "Speedy Gonzales," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. I was 15 when this was released. My bedroom walls were covered in Pat Boone pictures and he was my first real crush. Even now the sound of that voice makes my heart skip a beat.

Pat Books was extremely popular in the fifties and early sixties. He was a very pleasant performer.

I played this song over and over as a teenager in the 60's. It helped me grow up.

In reply to Elmer Zu.... Why comment here if you aren't - as you say - "into his the sound of Pat or his white shoes."  Um... his white shoes didn't make any sound on this recording.  LOL!  But I can't figure out why you would come here and make such a useless comment.  This beautiful man recorded this song in the 1950's.  He was a teenage idle and a very much loved man and still is.  Go trash people you know something about if you have to trash people to make yourself feel better, 'kay?

A beautiful song and I remember it when it first came out, because I was "Twixt Twelve and Twenty" when he sang it.  Thanks for the trip down memory lane.  Incidentally, I was married to my wonderful husband who was 18.  I was 17.  Definitely between twixt and twenty, and we're still happily married.  We both still love Pat Boone!

The word "twixt" is a preposition that means "between"...So in this song, Pat is singing about a girls teenage years. Pat Boon is a member of The Church of Christ...He is not Mormon.

Oh, no ...Heaven forbid...Now in 2012 the lyrics must contain one vulgarity after the other all to the beat of some hip-hop melody i.e. b*tch slappin' ho style music.... :-(

This is by far, Pat's best song ever! The great year of 1959 produced the greatest songs of the early rock & roll era.

This song will always remind me of being a young girl and getting all my parents old 45's out and listening to them, my mum loved this song.

My favorite by Pat happen to be Speedy Gonazles and With The Wind & Rain In Your Hair. I probably like this one just as much as I like April Love and that's not saying alot cause I'm not into Mr. Boone. Elvis really can hit it off with me but you'd be surprized how I get off on something like "Sugar Plum" by Ike Clanton or Carol" by David Hamber or Johnny Crawford as a whole. Nope I'm not into the sounds of Pat or his white shoes, I really don't want to listen to him...sorry! Thx
