About Pete Rodriguez
Not to be confused with , also known as El Conde.
Pete Rodriguez was a pianist, arranger and orchestra leader born in the Bronx, New York, in 1932. He started his career in the late 1950's and his early work saw the light in the early 1960's. 1966 was the year of a new record deal with and his coronation as The King Of Boogaloo. He released several LPs till the early 1970's, then the Boogaloo fever faded and his kingdom was gone. Recently, his music legacy has been recovered in several compilations, acclaimed by famous DJs and praised in the club scene around the world where he still is the King.

Hay unos manes q se las quieren dar de los eruditos en la música y posan de PONTIFICES de la música, el Bogaloo normalmente es lento en mi Cali Bella los discomanos en los años 70 descubrieron q acelerandolo un poco se hacía más bailable y lo disfrutamos mucho así, eso NO quiere decir q es original así acelerado no sencillo se hace más bailable
