PiL were just the coolest band - that is, John Lydon & Keith Levene & Jah Wobble were the best incarnation of PiL ever - meaning that their best albums they ever made were their 1st 3 albums: First Edition, Metal Box (aka Second Edition) and the Wobble-less Flowers of Romance, which still had Keith Levene and Martin (the founder of Pigface) Atkins on drums. - the later stuff - albums like Happy?, tunes like "Rise" - which, I admit, is a good tune and things like "Warrior

Yes the original Public Image is one of my top best band ( until This is what you want). But now it's not Pil anymore to me and yes i think it's boring. Sorry

Well, sometimes it takes some time. Maybe in a year or so I will be more interested in listening to this album. I was never a big fan of 9. I actually preferred That What Is Not over 9. Have you heard the new Primitives album?
