Review by David Robertson

The Platters' album Popular is a collection of their greatest hits that showcases their smooth harmonies and timeless sound. The album opens with their iconic hit "Only You," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Their other hits such as "The Great Pretender," "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes," and "Twilight Time" are also included on the album. The Platters' ability to blend doo-wop, R&B, and pop is evident throughout the album, making it a must-have for any fan of classic music. Popular is a testament to the Platters' enduring legacy and their contribution to music history.
