Sir Michael Redgrave CBE (born on March 20, 1908 in Bristol, England) was an English stage and film actor, director, manager and author. He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 1952 and was knighted in 1959.

He died in a nursing home in Denham, Buckinghamshire, on March 21, 1985, from Parkinson's disease, one day after his 77th birthday.
