About Stijn Demeulenaere
Stijn Demeulenaere is a sound artist from Brussels (BE). Since 2009 he creates installations, soundscapes and performances, and does sound design for dance and theatre. His work researches the relationship between identity, sound and listening. He is also an avid field recordist and a lot of his work starts from there. His work was shown all over Europe and in Brazil and Canada. He was a finalist in the European Sound Art award 2016, the LOOP Discovery videoart award 2016 and the Musica soundscape competition in 2014.
