Suicidal Furniture - Tunnels

Review by Rodri Go Rojas

Suicidal Furniture's latest album, Tunnels, is a haunting and atmospheric journey through the dark corners of the human psyche. The band's signature blend of post-punk, shoegaze, and industrial rock is on full display here, creating a sound that is both familiar and fresh.

The album opens with the brooding "Into the Void," which sets the tone for what's to come. The track's slow, pulsing rhythm and swirling guitars create a sense of unease that carries throughout the album. "Dead End" and "The Abyss" continue this trend, with their driving basslines and distorted vocals adding to the feeling of impending doom.

However, the album is not without its moments of beauty. "Echoes" is a standout track, with its shimmering guitars and dreamy vocals providing a brief respite from the darkness. "Spiral" is another highlight, with its hypnotic rhythm and haunting melody.
