Syrant's album 1986 1991 is a must-listen for fans of heavy metal and hard rock. The album is a compilation of the band's greatest hits from the late 80s and early 90s, showcasing their raw energy and impressive musicianship.
From the opening track "Soul Crusher" to the closing number "Blackened Skies," Syrant delivers a sonic assault that is both intense and melodic. The soaring vocals of lead singer Matt Lawson are complemented by the blistering guitar work of Alex Mercer and the thunderous rhythms of bassist Ryan Williams and drummer Matt Johnson.
The album's standout tracks include "Ride the Lightning," with its anthemic chorus and shredding guitar solos, and "Tears of Blood," a haunting ballad that showcases Lawson's emotional range. The band also shows its versatility with the bluesy "Bad Luck Blues" and the thrashy "Warzone."
