- "Peut-être une des pochettes les plus laides de tous les temps. C’est le magazine Presto! qu’il fallait remercier, car c’était avec celui-ci qu’était offert ce split sur vinyl transparent.
- Yalta conférait une noise tranquille entre Chokebore, Lowercase et des choses encore plus ennuyeuses et de l’autre côté, ce qui nous intéresse, c’est Tantrum. Avec Mental Rape dans une version live au son médiocre enregistrée quelque part en France en 1997, on se dit que ce disque ne présente aucun intérêt, et on se trompe. Pour moi, cette version de Mental Rape enterre celle de l’album Twisted In Anguish, et je m'y connais un rayon en Tantrum, alors on se tait et on écoute. Le titre avait été retravaillé après la sortie du disque, certaines parties étaient complètement chamboulées, surtout les mélodies de voix, très différentes de l’original. Le résultat est âpre, sec, direct, à l’image de la machine à tuer que Tantrum a toujours été en concert, avec n’importe laquelle des trois formations.
- Je n'ai qu'un mince souvenir du magazine Presto! qui accompagnait le skeud et il me semble que ce n'était pas bien terrible. De toute façon je n'ai jamais pu saquer les gens qui osent écrire sur des disques ou la musique en général. Quel ennui."
