Thornafire - Granted For All Somberness

Review by Eduardo Torres Chacón

Thornafire's latest album, Granted For All Somberness, is a crushing display of death metal mastery. The Chilean band has been honing their craft for over 20 years, and it shows in the precision and intensity of their music.

The album opens with "Intro," a haunting instrumental that sets the stage for the onslaught to come. From there, the band launches into "La Sierpe," a blistering track that showcases their technical prowess and ferocious energy.

Throughout the album, Thornafire explores a range of tempos and moods, from the frenzied blast beats of "The Wolf" to the brooding atmosphere of "Seeding Venomous Entities." The production is top-notch, with every instrument and vocal line coming through with clarity and power.

One of the standout tracks is "Where the Sun Can't Shine," which features guest vocals from Kam Lee of Massacre. Lee's distinctive growls add an extra layer of brutality to the already crushing song.
