I'll never forget the Readymades getting booed off the stage at the Cow Palace at a Sammy Hagar show. They woulda been killed if they hadn't got off. I think that's when Postal decided to call it quits. Too funny!

Didn't know that. I seem to recall having some 415 Records (Romeo Void, VKTMS, etc) Did the label predate the song? So I guess it's a numerical pun.

In the late 70s, I was a steelworker doing therapy once a week with some guy who charged $25/week or something like that. One night I was feeling like crap,and I went to a club on San Pablo Ave. in Berkeley (name escapes me, now defunct) and saw The Readymades, who I had seen and liked a couple of times before. I had a blast, felt much better, and the next time I went to the therapist I told him I wouldn't be back, because I could spend $5 at a punk show if I wanted to feel good.

Rock music entering into "new wave" - Enter The Readymades. These guys rocked the Berkeley Square. The 415 compilation and Readymades EP are still big favorites of mine! "Berkeley- Get Tense"!
