Space Daze 2000 is a compilation album that showcases the best of psychedelic and space rock from the turn of the millennium. Featuring tracks from a range of artists including The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Warlocks, the album is a trip through the outer reaches of sound.
The album starts off strong with The Brian Jonestown Massacre's "Anemone," a swirling, hypnotic track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Other standout tracks include The Warlocks' "Shake the Dope Out," a fuzzed-out rocker with a catchy chorus, and The Black Angels' "Manipulation," a dark and brooding track that builds to a powerful climax.
