Fascinatingly strange. It reminds me of later Autechre music, which is funny because this is among the first pieces of electronic music iirc ofcourse. But in the grand scheme of things my knowledge of music history is rather patchy, to say the least. The knowledge that this was one of the first (i think) sort of gives me a perspective of how strange and novel these sounds can be and still are, but especially were back then.

I think that Stockhausen was a great musician but this kind of sperimentation now is a little bit pretentious. I mean in those days were people like La Monte Young or Xenakis.
