Callas sempre única! Ela é insuperável por conta de sua intensidade, colorido de e uma interpretação estupenda. Ela vive a personagem além de sua habilidade vocal quer nos pianissimos, quer nas coloraturas, em qualquer extensão. Mas acima da técnica está a alma de artista! Divina!?

Such a dreadful, horrible singer. Perhaps not all her fault; teaching when she studied was extremely limited. Callas, with a flawed voice from the beginning, certainly brought some fascinating colors to the drama. But, such wretched sounds. I always felt (and I do understand that she moved in a way not seen before in opera, was electrifying on stage) that I was in a production of The Emperor's New Clothes when listening to her.
