Review by Pamy CH

Women & Children's Night of the Rake is a haunting and introspective album that explores themes of love, loss, and self-discovery. From the opening track "Lover's Lament" to the closing song "Goodbye, Goodbye," the band delivers a cohesive and emotionally charged experience that will leave listeners moved and introspective.

The album's sound is a blend of indie rock and folk, with haunting melodies and introspective lyrics that draw the listener in. The band's raw and authentic sound is complemented by the intimate production, which captures the band's live energy and emotional intensity.

Standout tracks include "The Rake," a haunting and evocative ballad about love and loss, and "Broken," a powerful and introspective meditation on the pain of heartbreak. Throughout the album, Women & Children demonstrate a remarkable ability to connect with their listeners on a deep and emotional level, making Night of the Rake a must-listen for fans of indie rock and folk music alike.
