I have a cassette called Romantic Rock (my compilation). The leadoff song is Sunlight. Also on the tape are Hang on to a Dream- The Nice (w/Keith Emerson), Are You Sitting Comfortably - The Moody Blues , Sometimes in Winter- Blood Sweat & Tears, Old Man-Love, You Don't Realize- Electric Flag, Today- Jefferson Airplane and several other beautiful love ballads from 60s rock bands. The last song on side B is Nights in White Satin. Elephant Mountain is one of the prized gems in my vinyl collection.

Larry Coryell Live at the Village Gate, Beyond These Chilly Winds and Gloomy Skies...... an 8 minute rock and roll extravaganza.... a modern day symphony or a rhapsody not unlike.....Rhapsody in Blue....ala Larry Coryell shredding..... live in 1968....pretty damn special.

Staying up a little late tonight and listening to the Youngbloods....when this song came on I got that feeling. That shock of recognition that I feel so alive and lucky to be so loved. "that's the way she feels about you...." what a gift this man has communicated. Still puts a lump in my throat 40+ years after I first heard it.
