About Zapa,

Originally from A Coruña, Spain, and based in London since 2009, Miguel Zapata (also known as Zapa) started writing his own songs in 2006, aged 17. Creative-commons netlabel Vulpiano Records started releasing his music back in 2010 with the compilation Songs 2006-2009 and an EP, Words, consisting of W.B. Yeats put to music. He finishes his first cohesive full-lenght album The Long Trick in 2018, also self-edited as a limited edition LP. His second album, Triangle, is released in March 2018. Like the rest of this music, this album is home recorded and completely self-produced. His work is richly lyrical and deeply influenced by the late 60s, early 70s psychedelic folk sounds from the UK and the US. In London he has collaborated with bands like Magnetic Mind as a lyricist and illustrator and worked independently as a DJ and music promoter. His entire catalogue is available to stream and download for free online.
