Review by Rasmus Selch Thyrring

The album Соната 22 Соната 32 by Л Бетховен Евгений Могилевский is a brilliant masterpiece that showcases the talent and skill of both the composer and the performer. The album features two of Beethoven's most famous and beloved sonatas, Sonata No. 22 in F Major, Op. 54 and Sonata No. 32 in C Minor, Op. 111, both of which are performed with great passion and precision by the talented pianist, Evgeny Mogilevsky.

The album begins with Sonata No. 22, a piece that is known for its lightness and playfulness. Mogilevsky's performance captures the joyful spirit of the piece, with his fingers dancing across the keys and bringing the music to life. The second movement, marked "Allegretto," is particularly beautiful, with Mogilevsky's playing imbuing the music with a sense of grace and elegance.

The final piece on the album is Sonata No. 32, a work that is widely considered to be one of Beethoven's greatest achievements. Mogilevsky's performance of this piece is nothing short of breathtaking, with his playing conveying the deep emotions and intense emotions that are at the heart of the music. The second movement, marked "Arietta," is particularly moving, with Mogilevsky's playing bringing out the subtle nuances of the music and creating a sense of intimacy and vulnerability.

German composer and pianist, born in 1770 (baptized 17 December 1770) in Bonn, Germany and died 26 March 1827 in Vienna, Austria. A crucial figure in the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras in classical music. Beethoven led Viennese Classicism to its highest development and paved the way for Romantic music. Beethoven was the eldest son of a singer in the Kapelle of the Archbishop-Elector of Cologne and grandson of the Archbishop's Kapellmeister. He moved in 1792 to Vienna, where he had some lessons from Haydn and others, quickly establishing himself as a remarkable keyboard-player and original composer. By 1815 increasing deafness made public performance impossible and accentuated existing eccentricities of character, patiently tolerated by a series of rich patrons and his royal pupil the Archduke Rudolph. Beethoven did much to enlarge the possibilities of music and widen the horizons of later generations of composers. To his contemporaries he was sometimes a controversial figure, making heavy demands on listeners both by the length and by the complexity of his writing, as he explored new fields of music.
