Astro Zombies' Dirty Black Summer 2014 is a thrilling album that showcases the band's punk rock prowess. The record is a mix of original tracks and covers, all of which are infused with the band's signature energy and intensity.
The album opens with the title track "Dirty Black Summer," a cover of Danzig's classic song. Astro Zombies' version is heavier and faster, with scorching guitar riffs and pounding drums. The band's original tracks, such as "Radioactive" and "Zombie Love," are just as impressive, with catchy hooks and memorable choruses.
Astro Zombies' cover of the Misfits' "Astro Zombies" is another standout track, with the band adding their own unique twist to the already iconic song. The album closes with a cover of the Ramones' "Pet Sematary," which is given a fresh, punk rock makeover.

- Live recordings from the soundboard from the August 23 Dirty Black Summer 2014 show in Osaka. Each CD was sold individually with a t-shirt as a set, but a special tall-case was presented to those who ordered all three shirts.
