Review by Alexis G

Let The Good Times Roll by Candy And The Kisses is a delightful album that showcases the group's impressive vocal talents and catchy melodies. From the upbeat title track to the soulful "I'll Be Seeing You," the album is a fun and energetic ride that will have listeners tapping their feet and singing along.

Candy And The Kisses' harmonies are tight and polished, and their voices blend together beautifully. The instrumentation is also top-notch, with lively drums and groovy bass lines that give the songs a driving rhythm.

One standout track is "The 81," a danceable tune that features a catchy chorus and a funky horn section. "Two Happy People" is another highlight, with its sweet lyrics and smooth vocal delivery.

I confess, I was hoping that the New York sweeties were tackling this song; I like their stuff....

Thanks for this. Found a mention of this record when I was scouring Billboard books that's what led me here. No idea that Johnny Rivers was involved in anything like this. Sounds like it was recorded at the same sessions that Spector produced his historic Christmas album. How was this group different to The 81 group?
