Charlie Byrd's Bossa Nova Once More is a delightful album that showcases the guitarist's mastery of the bossa nova genre. The album features 12 tracks, including classics such as "Desafinado," "Corcovado," and "The Girl From Ipanema."
Byrd's guitar work is exceptional throughout the album, with his smooth and fluid playing perfectly capturing the laid-back, romantic vibe of bossa nova. The accompanying musicians, including bassist Keter Betts and drummer Buddy Deppenschmidt, provide a solid foundation for Byrd's playing, adding subtle flourishes that enhance the overall sound.
