I used to listen to her old records growing up as Dad had her records and I was 3 or 4 when I first heard her on Records ! I now have a record album that I got last week at a thrift store ! Really enjoy her songs !

3 days before my dad passed away he sang this song. Felt like a self prophecy. It was Saturday when he sang this, and the first time ever I ever heard of this song. All day he only sang this song. The next day he couldn't speak anymore, his body was starting to shut down. 2 days later, he went home to be with the Lord. I miss him so bad. Been 4 years and 7 months since I last saw him.

Its not only Connie its also the musicians the beautifull backing vocals...sometimes done by the artists self...and the technicians the way they put up the mike...and even where the musicians sat ....it was mostly done in a few takes by a 2 track or 4 track recorder.
The story goes that Elvis first recordings was done by a 2 track recorder.
Its nowdays TOOOOOO with all that computer stuff...they have to work and work to get something right on those computers.
