Ephemerals, the London-based soul band, released their fourth studio album, Things Loving Guaranteed, in October 2020. The album features ten tracks that showcase the band's signature sound of soulful vocals, brass instrumentation, and funky beats.

The album opens with the upbeat and groovy "In and Out," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Lead singer Wolfgang Valbrun's vocals are powerful and emotive, and the brass section adds depth and richness to the sound.

"Things," the title track, is a slow and soulful ballad that highlights Valbrun's vocal range and the band's ability to create a melancholic yet beautiful atmosphere. The track "The Oligarch" is a standout, with its funky bassline, catchy chorus, and politically charged lyrics.
