Review by Mike Saxton

The album Coming Together by Gay Nineties has been creating a buzz in the music scene lately. The album features a perfect blend of indie rock and pop, making it a treat for the ears. The band has done a great job of combining catchy melodies with meaningful lyrics, which is evident in every song on the album.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Hold Your Fire," which starts with a catchy guitar riff and builds up to a powerful chorus. The song is a perfect example of the band's ability to create an infectious melody and pair it with lyrics that have a deeper meaning.

Another great track on the album is "Letterman," which has a more upbeat tempo and showcases the band's talent for creating songs that make you want to dance. The song features a catchy chorus and a guitar solo that will leave you wanting more.

About The Gay Nineties

The Gay Nineties era was a memorable time and experience characterized by societal scandal, suffragette movements, and decadent art. 'Gay Nineties', the band are no different, delivering an explosive live performance showcasing their clear musical sensibility and style, inspired by multiple decades of inspiring artistic influences. "The kind of songs that would impress even The Kooks or The Arctic Monkeys" - Discorder Magazine Working with Producer, Scott Ternan (54-40, Sam Roberts) and Mixer, Steve Bays (Hot Hot Heat, Mounties), GayNineties have spent the last 6 months in the studio creating a new full length record which is equal parts swagger, psychedelia keyboard, stomping drums, and tight harmonies. The full album will be released shortly after the release of a two song 7" in January and a Nation-wide single release to Canadian radio. A full length tour of Canada and USA to promote the radio single release and pending record release will happen in January 2014 with band Sydney York. As soon as I heard them play for the first time, I practically forced them straight into the recording studio. - Steve Bays of Hot Hot Heat "Gay Nineties easily stand as my pick for surprise standout from the entire festival." - The Indie Machine at CMW 2013 "Whoa, is this what The Zombies would sound like if they weren't doing the Casino circuit?" - Ion Magazine
