Review by Ram Singar Yadav

Evil Twin by Hub is a remarkable album that showcases the band's versatility and creativity. The album is a masterclass in alternative rock, with each track offering a unique blend of heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics. The band's musicianship is top-notch, with each member contributing their own unique sound to the mix.

The album kicks off with the hard-hitting "Jekyll and Hyde," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. The track features powerful vocals, driving drums, and a killer guitar solo that will leave you wanting more. Other standout tracks on the album include "Broken Bones," "The Devil's Playground," and "Blood Moon," each of which showcases the band's ability to write catchy, anthemic songs.

One of the things that sets Evil Twin apart from other rock albums is the range of emotions it evokes. While some tracks are heavy and intense, others are more introspective and melancholic. "The Last Time" is a beautiful ballad that showcases the band's softer side, while "Echoes" is a haunting instrumental that will leave you feeling introspective.

About Hub

During the mid- to late '80s, James Hubbard (Hub) Moore was the bassist for the Boston groove band Three Colors. When the five members of Three Colors went their separate ways in 1988, Moore made a gradual move to N.Y.C. and performed solo, simply as Hub Moore. Over the next decade, he led the Great Outdoors and contributed musical scores to Hal Hartley films. In 1998, he released HUB, his well-received debut, on Slash/London. The bluesy pop single "Evil Twin" became an alterna-radio favorite in Boston and N.Y.C.
