Review by michael brown

The Barbican Performance by Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu is an enthralling album that is sure to captivate the listener from the first note to the last. This album is a live recording of the band's performance at the Barbican Centre in London, and it features a mix of spoken word, music, and visuals.

The album is a testament to the band's ability to create a truly unique and immersive experience for their audience. The spoken word segments are thought-provoking and engaging, while the music is a perfect blend of electronic beats, rock and roll, and experimental sounds.

The visuals are equally impressive, with a mix of projections, lighting, and other effects that add to the overall atmosphere of the performance. The album is a true work of art, and it is clear that the band put a lot of thought and effort into every aspect of the show.

About The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu

The earliest incarnation of the Bill Drummond/James Cauty collaboration that had most success as the Kopyright Liberation Front (KLF). The name comes from the & Robert Shea books, "The Illuminatus! Trilogy". The Justified Ancients of Mummu (JAMs) were the underground (underwater!) anarchist collective spearheaded by Hagbard Celine, who fights the Illuminati from a golden submarine, the Leif Ericson. In the book, Mu is another name for the vanished Atlantis and Lemuria. Drummond was involved in the stage production of "Illuminatus!" in 1976.
