Review by Tomas Floyd

Männska, the latest album by Lars T Johansson, is a masterpiece of modern jazz that showcases the incredible talent of this Swedish musician. The album is a fusion of jazz, funk, and soul, with elements of electronic music and rock added for good measure.

The opening track, "När Ingen Ser," sets the tone for the rest of the album, with its moody, atmospheric soundscapes and intricate guitar work. From there, the album takes the listener on a journey through a variety of moods and styles, from the funky, upbeat "Spegelbild" to the hauntingly beautiful "Mörker."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Sången Om Livet," a slow, contemplative piece that showcases Johansson's skill as a composer and arranger. The track features a beautiful melody played on the piano, with subtle electronic beats and atmospheric sound effects adding depth and texture to the sound.

Throughout the album, Johansson's guitar playing is simply stunning, with a range of techniques and styles on display. Whether he's playing intricate jazz runs, funky rhythm guitar parts, or soaring solos, he always manages to keep the listener engaged and entertained.
