Review by Vinitha Dileep

Louis Jordan And His Tympany Five's album 1947-1949 is a must-listen for any fan of swing and jump blues. The album features some of the band's most iconic hits, including "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens" and "Choo Choo Ch'Boogie".

The album captures the band's signature sound, with Jordan's smooth vocals and the Tympany Five's infectious horn section. The songs are upbeat and lively, guaranteed to get listeners dancing and singing along.

Aside from the hits, the album also includes lesser-known tracks that showcase the band's versatility and range. "Texas And Pacific" is a standout track, with its Western swing influence and Jordan's playful lyrics.
