From Beer To Eternity, the thirteenth studio album by Ministry, is a powerhouse of industrial metal. Released in 2013, it was the last album to feature founder Al Jourgensen's longtime collaborator Mike Scaccia, who passed away shortly after its completion.

The album showcases Ministry's signature blend of aggressive guitar riffs, pounding drums, and electronic soundscapes. Jourgensen's vocals are as fierce as ever, delivering politically charged lyrics that are both angry and thought-provoking.

From the opening track, "Hail to His Majesty (Peasants)," the album sets a relentless pace that never lets up. The standout track, "Permawar," is a scathing critique of America's endless war machine, with Jourgensen shouting, "We'll never see the end of it, it's a permawar!"

Other highlights include "Punch in the Face," a blistering track that lives up to its title, and "Fairly Unbalanced," a satirical take on the media's biased reporting.

It's very refreshing to hear again some industrial-like sounds of yore in some tracks, such as "Punch In The Face" or "The Horror". Printed-art wise, the album features several excellent high concept creepy/sexy images, a reminder that this is not your average metal industrial band. The leader, His Majesty Jourgensen, seems to be -as usual- fully invested and enthusiastic across the project, thus, naming this as another "farewell album" seems just a attention grabbing stunt. If you happen to like the recorded output of Ministry that has appeared during the 20 years prior to this, disappointment is hardly an option.

I got this album and wondered if maybe Ministry lost a step or two, but I quickly learned they did NOT when the very first track started playing.
