About The Nolans
Pop act consisting of a group of sisters. All sisters were originally part of an Irish family singing group, . The family moved from Ireland to Blackpool in 1962. In 1974, several of the female family members were signed as "The Nolan Sisters". This name was used until 1979, after which they became "The Nolans". The group disbanded in 2005, but reunited briefly in 2009 for a UK tour.

Seems so tame now but I remember the furor over this song.

Best Nolans song ever, should have been huge, I heard a rumour not sure if it's true, the song was on all the playlists and set to climb up the charts, but the way the charts were calculated free posters were sent to the stores to help it go up the charts and the charts people saw it as cheeting so it got pulled.
