Rhoda Scott has done it again with her latest album, Take Five In The Mood Summertime. The album features a mix of classic jazz tunes and original compositions, all performed with Scott's signature Hammond organ sound.
The album opens with a lively rendition of "Take Five," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. Scott's organ playing is virtuosic, and she is accompanied by a tight rhythm section that keeps the groove going throughout.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "In The Mood," a swinging tune that features some impressive soloing from Scott and her bandmates. The energy on this track is infectious, and it's impossible not to tap your foot along with the beat.
