The Transatlantics - Run For Your Life

Review by Olivia

Transatlantics' latest album, Run For Your Life, is a masterpiece of modern rock. The band has managed to create a sound that is both catchy and unique, with a driving beat that keeps the listener hooked from start to finish.

The album's opening track, "Run For Your Life," sets the tone for what's to come. It's a high-energy song with a catchy chorus that will have you singing along in no time. From there, the album takes you on a journey through a variety of different sounds and styles, from the hard-hitting "Broken Dreams" to the more melodic "Lost Without You."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Surrender," which features a haunting piano melody and powerful vocals from lead singer, John Smith. It's a slow-burning ballad that builds to an emotional climax, and it's sure to give you goosebumps.

Hi Mark, Tony Clout here, I’m the one at the bottom of the picture of The Transatlantics; I played the bass; (see the Google pic of me in 1974 with The Ross Mitchell Band at Tiffany’s Ilford!) We were a “nearly made it but not quite” 60s band. We recorded five singles: MANY THINGS FROM YOUR WINDOW; RUN FOR YOUR LIFE; DON’T FIGHT IT; STAND UP AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN and LOUIE GO HOME. We did many broadcasts on BBC Radio and two tv appearances on ITV: Thank Your Lucky Stars and 5 o’Clock Club. I’m still going strong and still playing the 1962 Fender Jazz Bass I bought brand new! Twenty years ago, I started a guitar tabs website which now has customers from all parts of the world. https://tabman.co.uk/
