Vienna School Act '89's self-titled album, Vienna School Act 89, is a stunning tribute to the electronic music scene of the late 80s. The album features a mix of synthesizers, drum machines, and vocals that transport the listener back to the era of new wave, synth-pop, and post-punk.
The album opens with "Machines," a track that sets the tone for what's to come. The driving bassline and catchy synth melody are reminiscent of Depeche Mode's early work. "Electronic Bodies" and "Electricity" continue this theme, with their pulsing beats and catchy hooks.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Ghost in the Machine." The haunting vocals and atmospheric synths create an eerie, otherworldly feeling. "Dancing in the Dark" is another standout track, with its infectious groove and danceable beat.
