I had all but forgotten about these guys. They sure don't make 'em like this anymore.

My dad used to play this album on cassette tape when I was a wee ole baby. I remember the back of it had a picture of the singer, I think, when his head was completely shaved; he was in mid air jumping and flailing his limbs.
I was born and raised in Nashville, and some silly part of me feels proud to say this band is from my hometown. I've always loved this band's music, especially this particular release. I hope to make a cover of one of these songs someday.
Edit: just noticed the bonus track!

I always try and recommend The Grinning Plowman to someone when I have the chance, also yes up there as one of the greatest/underrated goth albums for sure! Cheers ??

Saw them at 328 in Nashville way, way back in the day. It's always been my favorite performance, especially since 328 closed and Plowman didn't last. Still can't remember the other bands that played that night but no one I knew went there for anything other than Grinning Plowman.

They rock. First heard Shake it Off in mid 80's on WUTK (college rock station for University of Tennessee). Have introduced this album to my 19 year old college student, he really likes it.
