Leathercoated Minds' album Muito Muito Psicodélico is a trippy journey through the psychedelic rock genre. The band's sound is reminiscent of the late 1960s and early 1970s, with heavy use of reverb and fuzz guitar. The album features covers of classic psychedelic tracks such as "I Feel the Same Way Too" and "Sunshine Superman," as well as original compositions like "Gone" and "Can You See Me." The vocals are dreamy and ethereal, adding to the overall otherworldly vibe of the album. The production is top-notch, with each instrument given its own space in the mix. This was a Snuff Garrett project as a compilation album of covers of numbers that were popular on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. These were combined with newly-written numbers by J.J. Cale who was a member of the makeshift group assembled for the recording, who called themselves "The Leathercoated Minds".Comments
